No, for that you need to cross compile.
On x86 ubnutu you can install a gcc compiler that will generate arm binary's.  
I think you need:
g++-arm-linux-gnueabi - The GNU C++ compiler for armel architecture
gcc-arm-linux-gnueabi - The GNU C compiler for armel architecture

I never tried this before.

You can also tried the arm compiled binary from debian:
