Going to have to be more specific than that, I think, if you want some
help. I have to imagine that they work for someone or they wouldn't be
up there, so it's probably a config error. With that amount of
information, however, I don't know what someone would be able to tell you.

Because Deadcat.net is for BB scripts, not Xymon. Most scripts work with
a little bit of finagling, but from a step-by-step perspective, that may
be beyond the scope of this mailing list. If you're going to be running
a Xymon installation, I have to imagine you'd benefit from learning
something about shell scripting too as it will help you going forward.

As an aside though, I've found that Deadcat scripts tend NOT to need
bbdef.sh -- I've been migrating from BB to Xymon and I have a half-dozen
BB external scripts working. If you look at the manual where it tells
you how to add an external script to the clientlaunch.cfg file I believe
it's called, you see that an environment config file is called that
provides most of the environment variables needed by Deadcat scripts. If
they don't suffice, I'd imagine adding the additional ones would do the
trick.
