You have to install GNU Make, but I was able to install the Hobbit / Xymon base 4.2.0 client pretty easily after that on AIX 5.2 and 5.3.

Subject: [hobbit] Hobbit AIX Client
OK guys, thanks a lot in helping me bringing up the Hobbit server up on my Linux (Ubuntu) machine.
Now I am on step two. I need to install the Hobbit client on my AIX machines. From where and how can install the Hobbit AIX client.
Should I download the source from: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=128058
and then compile it on my AIX servers? Is there a better and faster approach doing this?
Thanks!
