[hobbit] RRDs created, never updated

So if you tail rrd-data.log and rrd-status.log you don't see any messages that indicate 
any failure in the rrd process?

Does the Hobbit web display show any red alerts indicating that a rrd process crashed?

Which release of Hobbit are you running?
