[hobbit] windows question

I cannot help you with Windows unfortunately.  If it helps what we
typically do is have a script triggered in hobbit-alerts.cfg to ssh to
the problem host and execute a script or command on the remote host
(UNIX).  
 
There are reasons to do this.  The primary reason being we like sleeping
instead of waking up in the early AM to login and execute the command
manually.  The script on the server also creates a report that is sent
to all interested parties that something has been restarted or some
action has been taken.  We like to call the process automated.  
 
You just have to be careful, that it works and consider what could go
wrong.  Like in your case, your script goes awry and you end up
continously rebooting.  You also would have to consider, what if the
reboot fails, and what alarms will be created when the host is rebooted.
