Hi,
Where did you get the RPM? I got my server installed from RPM on a
CentOS 5.1 x86 and it took a bit of research but it works great. That
error sounds like something to do with permissions but my RPM install
required no fixing of anything. Sorry couldn't be more help.

I found a hobbit-server RPM for Red Hat EL4 and it installed OK but when
i try to run the hobbit server it gives me the following in the
hobbitlauch.log, "xfree: Trying to free a NULL pointer" and the service
does not start. Anybody out there that can assist me?
