Nothing.. And as I mentioned, ps aux shows only the one line, not the 
four or five listed in the documentation:

Did some googling.. (For the archive).

On os/x, editied /etc/rc:

sysctl -w kern.sysv.shmmax=4194304 kern.sysv.shmmin=1 
kern.sysv.shmmni=32 kern.sysv.shmseg=12 kern.sysv.shmall=1024

I tried manually running that line, no go. Editied from shmseg=8 to 
12, and rebooted. Works now!
