It looks like this may be in the latest snapshot.  I grabbed it and put 
the hobbitgraph.cgi and zoom.js and put them in place.  I tried it and 
it mostly works.  The one thing I've noticed is it doesn't work as 
expected with multivalue graphs such as disks and memory.  When you 
select and area, it still tries to show all the values regardless of 
whether the area selected contains the line.
