[hobbit] Gmake issue on solaris 10

What happens if you run (by hand)

  cd /usr/local/hobbit_4.2.0/server
  rm -f hobbit.sh
  ln -sf bin/hobbit.sh .

I cannot think of any reason why that series of commands could fail
with such an error.
