Of note: instead of

- --extra-tests=<blah>

as it says in the docs, i have the singular, --extra-test=, and that
works.  Do both work, or was this also a gotcha?  (for a while i had
cputemp=, but when that didn't seem to work, i started ripping
everything apart and starting over).
