[hobbit] Web server or hobbit?

Yep, I got that.
Took what what generated in the ~hobbit/server/etc/hobbit-apache.conf and tacked it on the end of the httpd.conf.
(This has always worked for me in the past)
See below for settings.

You need to configure apache so that it knows that the cgi directories are indeed just that :)

Something like this

   ScriptAlias /hobbit-cgi/ "/usr/lib/hobbit/cgi-bin/"
   <Directory "/usr/lib/hobbit/cgi-bin">
       AllowOverride None
       Options ExecCGI Includes
   </Directory>
