Open ssl error while installing hobbit

Hi all,
When I run ./configure while installing hobbit, am getting the
following message while checking for OpsnSSL. I have downloaded
openssl-0.9.8a.tar.gz and compiled it every thing went on good with out
any error while installing it.
Can any one help me how to fix it.
