Perhaps the underscore is also considered a valid character. I can
process dataset names with underscores using the extra tests and script.
Also, I changed do_ncv.c to allow underscores in the dataset name.

Here's a dump from my rrd file:

pg_util
1131975600: 1.0000000000e+00
1131975900: 1.0000000000e+00
1131976200: 1.0000000000e+00
Now that my rrd file is being updated, I have to figure out why the
graph isn't appearing.
