[hobbit] Install issue - libssl.so open failed

Try OpenSSL section of your Makefile should like this and then
make;make install

# OpenSSL settings        
SSLFLAGS = -DBBGEN_SSL
# Change the following line if compiler complains about a missing ssl.h
SSLINCDIR = -I/usr/local/ssl/include                              
SSLLIBS = -L/usr/local/ssl/lib -lssl -lcrypto                     
RPATHVAL += /usr/local/ssl/lib
