We are looking into development for the Windows platform, but focusing
more on WMI scripts for testing given services/Applications (i.e.
Exchange / RPC / SQL Server, that kind of stuff)

Although we planned to just continue using the BBClient, there might be
value in coordinating efforts here.  We are evaluating the methods
available to us in managing this; with the following considerations:

About 30 servers each with about 10 tests, hence upward of 300 scripts
(given each bbclient has a different install path / log directory), with
the added burden of rolling out updates or amendments to these scripts.

We are finding that management of client side tests has become
cumbersome with as little as 30 servers, and would like to work toward a
unified deployment and or deployment method.

Also, I am sure there are a number of people involved in monitoring
Microsoft servers; I would be interested to hear how you achieved this,
in addition to any indication of interest in the development of a client
/ test architecture.

I think you've done an amazing job.  Cutting the ties with Qwest is a
good
thing.  I bought the PE version during a big sale last year, and haven't
heard a thing from them (upgrades, etc).  They should have given you a
big
check and thrown bbgen into BB.  Just my personal opinion.

One thing I've noticed is that traffic on the BB mailing list appears
to have dropped significantly after the Hobbit mailinglist started,
and the beta-testing really got going.

There are currently 169 adresses subscribed to the Hobbit list, and a
handful more only on the announcement-list. I guess I must be doing
something right :-)
