Are you saying that xymon adds <tt>xymond</tt>, <tt>xymongen</tt>
& <tt>xymonnet</tt> automatically on the line corresponding to
where it believes it's running? If so, then it most likely thinks
it's on <b>server1</b>, and the <tt>bbd</tt> column for <b>localhost</b>
simply makes it attempt to connect to it via the loopback interface
(as per hosts.cfg). (My xymonserver.cfg contains this: <tt>XYMONSERVERHOSTNAME="$MACHINEDOTS"</tt>,
with a comment that it gets set by xymoncmd--I use Terabithia
RPMs). <br>
<p>I'll play with IPs & hostnames to see if it makes a
difference. <br>
