this normally occurs if the client is trying to send more data than the<br>
server accepts.<br>
Take a look in your tmp directory on the client there should be a file<br>
named msg.<hostname>.txt or something similar.<br>
Check how big it is and what data is taking up the most space.<br>
I had this problem with a lot of TIME_WAIT in the ports section.<br>
I simply changed the xymonclient-<os>.sh in the bin directory on the<br>
client to exclude this since I don't care about these and voilá the<br>
problem was gone.<br>
Another way is to increase the MAXDATA value in xymonserver.cfg on the<br>
server to be somewhat bigger than the filesize of your clientdata file.<br>
