But if a ping status has been registered - regardless of how this happened - then xymond will first check if the ping-status is red, yellow or blue - in that case, then the stale test will go clear instead of purple.<o:p></o:p></p><p style='margin-left:35.4pt'>This is different from the old Big Brother system.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto;margin-left:35.4pt'>xymonnet does not generate a 'clear' status, except when 1) it has run the ping test and it failed, and 2) another network test fails. In that case, the second network test will be 'clear' instead of red.
