<p>It is possible to manage without any compiled binaries, if you just want the basic reporting from the client. I found two that needed replacing. One is the xymon binary, which can be replaced by a shell script using curl to deliver over http or https. I think the other was logfetch, which is being used to get the clock time. I'm not using xymon to grab logfiles, so the date command worked out just fine.</p>

shot and let us know what trouble you run into. One caveat is that it<br>
is best (necessary?) to install the GNU complier/linker. Aside from<br>
that, I don't remember it being special in any way.<br>
