Hi Enrik,

you think is possible that the two problems on my server (hight
http response time + conn test) are related to my S.O. (Linux
2.6.32-220.7.1.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Fri Feb 10 15:22:22 EST 2012
x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux)?

For http test i tried to make tests using curl from command line
(also for http requests over soap), and the values i got are
similar
to the values from apache log (%D).

For the conn test, i have tried also to install fping instead of
xymonping, but i have the same problems: response time from xymon
are always more high respect the values that i obtain from command
line, and not "dynamic":
Genraly only for one host, the values are corrected
For the other hosts, a value (20 ms X 1 or x 2) randomly seems
added to response time
Host OK:

Host not Ok:

I'll continue to investigate. If you have some suggestions

thanks
best regards
Hi Enrick,

i need help about this problem .. we have problems about some
application,
so i have investigated about http response time. The value from
apache log (see my email fwd)
is always different from the difference between the totaltime
and connecttime (from xymonnet.log)
Have you never try to make this test? Also the http response
time for soap/http is calculated from this difference?
thanks a lot for your help
