I have added the short name to hosts.cfg otpproxy1 not <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://otpproxy1.temenosgroup.com">otpproxy1.temenosgroup.com</a>. On the Xymon page i have the conn, disk, cpu, procs... all the tests are active there(it means the server receives the client data report).<br>
But the client seems to send the data report using the FQDN also and the server sees it like ghost client.<br>
How can i do to prevent it.<br>

A little clarification: ghost clients are generally clients that are sending data to the server, but the server is not configured to display them.<br>
