<p class="MsoNormal">I was wondering if anyone has had any issues with installing the new xymon client. Recently, I installed the client on a server that was running the old hobbit client just fine. Once I installed the xymon client and I ran the start command,
I received the following:<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">su - xymon -c "/xymon/xymon-4.3.0-beta2/client/runclient.sh start"<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Cannot write to the /xymon/xymon-4.3.0-beta2/client/logs directory<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">So I tried to run the ./configure.client but during the setup it said that the following was missing:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Checking for the PCRE libraries<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Checking for PCRE ...<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">PCRE include- or library-files not found. These are REQUIRED for hobbitd<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">PCRE can be found at http://www.pcre.org/<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">If you have PCRE installed, use the "--pcreinclude DIR" and "--pcrelib DIR"<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">options to configure to specify where they are.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I don’t remembering having to do all this to just get the hobbit client running. What am I missing?<o:p></o:p></p>
