<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">I solved my problem by calling IBM and
they had me download and install the latest fixpack for AIX 5.3 T/L 7...
this brought me up to Service Pack 7 (5300-07-07-0846). I rebooted
the server after applying the updates and the defunct processes are no
longer generated. Hope this helps.</font>

I have Hobbit running on a IBM P6 lpar, with AIX 5.3 installed.
It seems about every 3-4 minutes a 'defunct' process is started by hobbit.
I have tried uninstalling and re-installing Hobbit, and rebooting
the server. The defunct processes are still being generated. Does
anyone have any idea on what is causing this? Thanks for your help.
