By default, acknowledging is enabled by having an Apache authentication account on the server, not a shell account. They should add accounts for you in there.

Subject: [Xymon] Users & Acknowledging

Hello,

We have a team that actively monitors xymon, but does not have administrative rights to the server. Because of this, they are unable to acknowledge alarms. Is there any way to allow normal users to acknowledge alarms? Because currently, only administrators can.

Thank you,

Foster
