I see you created an svn repo ... I would feel much more comfortable if there 
was more of an appearance of code maintenance. We made some changes to 
dbcheck.pl on the version we use internally, since there was no activity on 
this project for a few years ....

If a VCS is available, I will try and see if any of the changes are still 
applicable.
