clientupdate related bug?!

I made another update and same issue. Some of the hosts did not get
the new clientlaunch.cfg file.
I had to manually go through each of them just to add the snippet
related to the new extension script.

Would be nice if I could avoid that, afterall `clientupdate' claims to
do just that
