[hobbit] getting bb failed - write error

When you see this in your client log file it means the client couldn't
send its message packet to the server.

 

Check that you can connect to the server's port from the client by
logging on to the client and typing:

$ telnet 192.47.0.53 1984

 

If it doesn't connect then you have a network/routing/firewall issue.

 

If it does connect then possibly the Xymon process on the server is
down.

I did not find any fix in the mailing list archive.

What is causing this?

my hobbit client is 4.2.0
