so, if your test currently sends 
"status sam.example.com.eggs red I will not eat them on a boat.  I will

you would want to change that to:
"status+85 sam.example.com.eggs green I do so like green eggs and ham.
Thank you, thank you, thank you Sam"

If you use +1h, then any delay could show up as transient purples, so
best to give yourself a little cushion.
