Yes, I have checked. This one AIX server is running 2 9i databases and
1 10G. I have no problem with the 10G. The 9i databases use the 10G
LISTENER
I'm going to try a couple more things,
Thanks!

Bb-roracle reads our /etc/oratab if I remember correctly, to determine
the
active/available SID's on your machine.

If you are running RAC, then the instance's are not named RMAN... By
your
example they would be RMAN1 and RMAN2 depending on the physical node.
OEM1
would be OEM running on that physical node, but I assume you now are
using
Grid Control instead. OEM hails from pre-10g.

Check your /etc/oratab and make sure it reflects what you are currently
running. Make sure your bb-roracle.ids file contains the correct SID to
be
testing for that physical node. You also need to point bb-roracle at the
correct ORACLE_HOME and TNS_ADMIN values if I remember correctly.

How are you doing the oracle listener test? This does not look like the
standard output from the oratns test you add to the bb-hosts file.

I have a server that has multiple SIDs,

They all use 1 listener, I have a - in the bb-roracle.ids file because
they all use the same one.

I get this: The SID RMAN1 is ok but the RMAN and OEM1 show as down How
can
I stop the

Two red statuses. Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you in advance,

Becki
