Hi !

and Happy New Year to everybody !

This afternoon we've seen an abnormal size for the msg.txt file in client
directory. Here is output :

PSP100 /opt/hobbit/client/tmp>ll
total 934872
-rw-r--r-- 1 root hobbit 0 Jan 11 10:43
hobbit_vmstat.PSP100.50948
-rw-r--r-- 1 root hobbit 38 Jan 11 09:18 logfetch.PSP100.cfg
-rw-r--r-- 1 hobbit hobbit 41 Jan 11 10:43
logfetch.PSP100.status
-rw-r--r-- 1 root hobbit 16384 Jan 11 10:43 msg.PSP100.txt
-rw-r--r-- 1 hobbit hobbit 478629888 Jan 11 08:52
msg.PSP100.txt.86546
-rw-r--r-- 1 hobbit hobbit 0 Jan 11 08:49 sar.12108
-rw-r--r-- 1 root hobbit 0 Jan 11 10:43 sar.40790
PSP100 /opt/hobbit/client/tmp>> msg.PSP100.txt.86546

As you can see a file reached 500M in size !! You could notice that some
files were created by 'root'. Well... it's not good 'cause that meaned
someone in my team launched Hobbit with this account ! Anyway, it's not
the first time I see such size for this file on the machine.
How may I prevent that ?

Sincerly,

Thomas
