RE: [hobbit] Alerting when host goes green

Hi Josh,

You can use "!conn" in your bb-hosts file and this will show the conn
green when down

The "!" negates a test.

When you say "ok" when down - is this white?

If you specify your IP as "dialup" it will be "ok" when down, and
"green" when up. Then you can alert on "green" without having to fiddle
with "disable until OK" every time there is a transition. Just an
idea...

I have a fallback IP that is specified on a device that will only be
used in the event it can't reach the DHCP server. Should it have this
problem, I (obviously :) would like to know!

I am thinking about having it disabled until OK, then just alert me when
it changes to green.

Does anyone have a better solution? Perhaps something that won't sit on
the menu blue for eternity?
