Did you run "make clean" before recompiling? What OS are you running the
hobbit server on?

Well, moving the log directory to the local disk stopped the error
messages but I'm still getting empty graphs.

Dean, the requirements show PCRE, RRDtool, libpng, OpenSSL and
OpenLDAP libraries. I've got all of those:

(from ./configure)

Any more ideas?
