I hope this paths serperation can be done in ./configure script(although not 
autoconf's ./configure)
When "./configure --server" got specified, a makefile should be generated to 
compile
and installed into a relative path for server binary only. the tight to 
"hobbit" as root (/opt/hobbit,/usr/hobbit) for server package very 
restrictive, and "./configure --server" also
gernating client binaries at same time is confusing.
