Pairwise, these changes happen exactly every 5 minutes. Which leads me 
to suspect that you have both the Hobbit client *and* a BB client or
some other tool generating status-report for the "msgs" column. The 
Hobbit client generates the green->clear changes, and the other tool
generates the clear->green changes.
