[Xymon] Feature Request

One of my scripts had something like

OUTPUT="$(echo "${OUTPUT}"|sed -e 's/:/\:/g')"
to convert all the colons I wanted to hide to the corresponding entity
name, which wouldn't cause that problem.  (OUTPUT would be concatenated
with the graphing data later in the script)
Replacing = too would just mean adding to the sed command:
-e 's/=/\=/g'
