Here a script in VBS to scan ASCII log from BBWin: 

To be modified

The default error color                                  Color_KO  = 
"yellow"
The name of your XYMON test                              Column = 
"mig_log"
The path to your log file:                                       MIG_LOG = 
"E:\Logs\MIGFlow.log"
Test on the key word to be trapped (here ERROR):        If Mid(Line,25,5) 
= "ERROR" Then

Hi all,

Is it possible to monitor log files (not event viewer) under windows 
machines?
For example *.log files containing particular patterns (error strings…)
I'm trying Bbwin client but using central mode I'm only capable to parse 
event log.

Maybe someone has an external that affords this feature…
