[Xymon] can't build i386 xymon rpms on x86_64 host

Has anyone else successfully built i386 RPMs of xymon & xymon-client 
using an x86_64 build server?  I'm running centos 5.5 and using this 
command:  "rpmbuild -bb --target=i386 xymon.spec"

Here's snippet from the beginning of the rpmbuild that shows the use of 
64bit:

I have both glibc-devel install for both archs:

Any tips are appreciated, as the xymon rpm build process is a little 
different from most RPMs I've worked with.
