[hobbit] Need to suppress CIFS mount disk checks

Oops, lazy me.  I used a "Reply to list" function, but gutted the message
and used a new subject line.  Did not think about the possibility that
other headers might trigger something for you folks--I don't use a
threaded client.  I'll post again from scratch.
