[hobbit] On the "Client S/W" again

Hi TJ,


I asked about what is "Client S/W" a few years back and got answer
that S/W stand for software.

To me this S/W is not a good name and causing unnecessary question from peer admins and users.
 I am hoping to change it to "Client version" or something more meaningful than "Client S/W".

Your problem here is going to be the fact that s/w is the de facto standard abbreviation for software. Likewise h/w is the abbreviation for hardware. It has been like this for as long as I have been in the computing industry (which is about 24 years) so you are going against a very long time of usage.

I'm not saying that you are wrong, just that s/w has been around forever so there are many who would not like the change.
