1.       Yes, Windows clients running BBWin can report to a *nix server
running Hobbit.

2.       In the bbwin.cfg file look for 'bbdisplay' and 'bbpager'.

3.       It installs as a Windows service and starts
automatically...else use the Services MMC.

HI,

    I am looking at hobbit installation to get windows server
reporting.I found bbwin is windows client. can any one please answer my
following doubts

 

1)      Can UNIX server be hobbit server for windows clients? or we have
to have one windows server as hobbit server and other windows server as
hobbit clients. 

 

2)      if UNIX server can be hobbit server for windows where we have to
specify UNIX server(hobbit server) name in the hobbit client(windows)
configuration file

 

3)      how to start windows client

 

4)      if UNIX server cannot be hobbit server for windows. Where can I
get windows hobbit server setup?

 

   

Can anyone please help me to get windows sever reporting
