Oh. Well, make sure you have removed those servers from
server/etc/bb-hosts and try running bb localhost "drop <servername>" on
your Hobbit server again (as the previous poster recommended).

Don't think that is it, the test that is getting reported as purple is
"conn".

I have removed some machines from hobbit, taken all mention of them from
the configuration files and issued the "drop" command using bb. I am
still getting notified of their "purple" status every day, and it has
been several weeks since I removed them from Hobbit. How can I stop
these alerts from being generated?
