Take a look at the "trimhistory" man page. Alternately, you could simply stop hobbit, copy off the old rrd data, and restart.

Subject: [hobbit] 4.3.0 Feature request - Archiving

Hi all,

regarding new 4.3.0 version I have a feature request.

Is it possible to introduce some "archiving" concept?
Let me explain better.

On my Hobbit system I have 1-year and more history for some hosts.
I would like to archive this history just like BigBrother can do using bbprune (as I remember right) or in a similar or better way.

What do you think about?

Regards.
