I maintain the Mandriva packages. I rebuild the SRPMS (which you can find on 
any Mandriva mirror under devel/cooker/SRPMS/contrib) on RHEL3/4 using the 
macros available here:

I updated to the RC a few minutes after getting the notification of the RC.

I could provide packages for RHEL3/4/4-x86_64, but sometime next week.

The spec file I used differs substantially from the one provided in the source 
tarball, to comply with Mandriva packaging standards.
