Hmm, if that's the case, why does hobbitlaunch.cfg have:

[bbnet]
        ENVFILE /usr/lib/hobbit/server/etc/hobbitserver.cfg
        NEEDS hobbitd
        CMD bbtest-net --report --ping --checkresponse
        LOGFILE $BBSERVERLOGS/bb-network.log
        INTERVAL 5m


Should the "NEEDS hobbitd" be removed?

In my case, I want to use one "monitoring" server in a network as proxy and 
network tester, and I wouldn't mind having a display on it too (eg, in the DR 
site).
